Al Bateen Beach is a beautiful new beach
Al Bateen Beach is a beautiful new beach in Abu Dhabi that is a great place to relax and enjoy the sun. It’s located on the island of Al Bateen, which you can reach by taking the bridge from downtown Abu Dhabi. The beach has palm trees, white sand and calm water, making it feel like you’re somewhere tropical instead of just across from downtown.
The best part about this beach is that it isn’t crowded at all! We went at noon on Friday and there were only about 10 other people there. You could easily find space for yourself if you wanted to spread out on your towel or blanket (although they do provide some shade). There are also lots of chairs available for rent along with food trucks selling sandwiches or ice cream cones if you get hungry during your stay at Al Bateen Beach
