Natadola Beach

We visited Natadola Beach Resort and Spa in Fiji for a 5-night stay in June 2022. We booked through Expedia and it was one of the most affordable resorts we found, but it was still very nice. It’s located on the western side of Viti Levu (Fiji’s main island) and only about 20 minutes from Nadi International Airport. We had never been to Fiji before, so we weren’t sure what kind of hotel we would find there – you can definitely find cheaper options if you’re willing to sacrifice on location or amenities…but I think this place has a good mix of both!

We chose the Natadola Beach Resort and Spa on the western side of Viti Levu

Which is a great place to stay in Fiji. The resort is right on the water but it’s just far enough away from the main road that it feels very remote and private. They have many different types of accommodations available – from rooms with shared bathrooms all the way up to villas that have their own pool areas and private gardens.

We stayed in a beachfront cottage with our own pool and private deck

We stayed in a beachfront cottage with our own pool and private deck. The cabins are right on the beach, so you can go swimming whenever you want. They’re also very private, quiet and peaceful–a great place to relax when you’re not exploring Fiji’s gorgeous scenery or diving into its crystal-clear waters.

The cabins come with all of the amenities you’d expect from luxury accommodation: air conditioning; hot water showers; WiFi internet access; mini bar service (for an extra fee); laundry service (also for an extra fee). There’s also an outdoor shower area next to your room if you want some privacy while washing off sand after a day at the beach!

The resort has two restaurants and a beach bar, plus a spa, gym, and lagoon-side swimming pool

The restaurant was great for breakfast, lunch and dinner – lots of fresh seafood options!

I had the omelette which was delicious and very filling. It came with a side salad and bread roll which was good value for money. My friend had the fish and chips, which looked amazing and she said it tasted great too!

The resort has a great snorkeling reef, but it’s not the only one in the area. There are also some great spots along the main road that can be reached by walking or by hiring a taxi.

Snorkeling is an activity that requires you to swim out from shore and then dive down into the water to look at marine life that lives on or near reefs, which are underwater structures created by corals growing together.

There are plenty of activities to keep you busy if you want to stay at the resort, but there are also some local attractions nearby as well as great places to eat and drink.

The Natadola Beach Resort is a great place for families or couples looking for an upscale experience in Fiji.
