Review of Playa de Cienaguita

Playa de Cienaguita is a small, quiet town located on the southeastern coast of Honduras. It’s about an hour away from Tela and Trujillo, two larger cities where you can find more options for food, drink and shopping.

Playa de Cienaguita has only been developed in recent years so it doesn’t have much in terms of tourist attractions–this is more of a place to relax than explore. The beachfront property is gorgeous though; it has white sand beaches that stretch out into crystal clear water with no sign of pollution or litter anywhere! There are also some nice restaurants nearby where you can enjoy fresh seafood dishes cooked over open fire grills (try the shrimp).

We recommend visiting Playa de Cienaguita if: 1) You love swimming/snorkeling 2) You want some time away from crowds 3) You’re looking for somewhere quiet 4) You need somewhere affordable
