White Bay gets fairly crowded and is not private, but it’s still a great beach

White Bay is a very popular beach and has been for years. The sand is white, the water is turquoise and there are lots of people on the beach.

The only thing that makes it “private” is that you have to pay $10 per person to get into White Bay or you can walk down from Road Town or take a taxi from town (which costs about $10). If you want some privacy, then I would recommend going somewhere else like Cane Garden Bay or Cooper Island Beach which both offer more seclusion than White Bay does

The sand is amazing and soft, and there are lots of fun restaurants with great food nearby. The water is also very clear, so it makes for a great place to go snorkeling or scuba diving. Same quality like on Long Bay beach or Smuggler’s Cove

I recommend that you try the fish tacos at Beach bar. They’re delicious!

Sunbeds at White Bay Beach

Sunbeds are available for rent on the beach. The cost is $10 per day and they’re available from 9AM to 5PM.

Rent kayaks or snorkeling gear

If you’re looking for something more than just a day at the beach, there are plenty of options in White Bay. You can rent kayaks at the beach or from one of the shops nearby. If snorkeling is more your thing, there’s also rental equipment available for that activity as well. If you’d rather stay dry but still explore some of the area by watercraft, there are paddle boards available for rent as well! And if jet skis are more your speed (and they definitely should be), those too can be rented out here too!

Restaurant at White Bay Beach

While there are a few restaurants in the area, we recommend The Boathouse on Scrub Island. It’s a short walk from your villa and has great food at reasonable prices (we had grilled grouper). The atmosphere is fun and casual; you can eat outside under umbrellas or inside where there are tables or booths lining the windows overlooking White Bay Beach.

Visitors can also enjoy a variety of beach bars and restaurants, including the famous Soggy Dollar Bar, which is known for its signature drink, the Painkiller. Overall, White Bay Beach is a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to the British Virgin Islands.

There are lots of vendors on the beach who will sell you merchandise or food.

You can buy lots of souvenirs, food and drinks at White Bay Beach. The vendors are very friendly and will try to get you to buy their merchandise. If you want to get a tattoo or henna tattoo, hair braiding or massages then there are also vendors who do these services on site. You can even get a tattoo from one of the local artists!

White Bay Beach is one of the best beaches in the Caribbean

overview of White Bay beach

White Bay Beach is one of the best beaches in the Caribbean. It’s a beautiful white sand beach, with clear water and soft sand that makes it perfect for swimming and kayaking. The snorkeling here is also great–you can see lots of colorful fish swimming around you when you’re in the water.

White Bay is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike, so make sure to get there early if you want to find parking (it’s free). There are plenty of places around town where you can grab lunch before heading out for an afternoon at this gorgeous beach!

What to Wear on White Bay Beach

When you’re at White Bay Beach, you’ll want to wear a bathing suit. There are no changing rooms or lockers at this beach, so keep your clothes on until you get in the water.

A hat and sunscreen are also recommended for protection from the sun’s rays–but don’t forget about your ears! The wind can be strong here, so bring along a cover up or sarong to protect yourself from getting burned by sunburns and keep sand out of sensitive areas (like eyes). Sandals or water shoes will help prevent blisters as well; they’ll allow you to walk through shallow waters without getting wet feet while still providing traction if there are rocks underfoot. A towel is useful if it starts raining unexpectedly; having one handy means that instead of having nothing dry left when things turn sour quickly after arriving home late at night following an unexpected storm out in nature where everything else felt so perfect just moments earlier. You can get more info on Google review.

Conclusion

White Bay Beach is a great place to go for a day trip. It has lots of restaurants and vendors on the beach who will sell you food or souvenirs, but it’s still fairly easy to get away from all the crowds if you want some peace and quiet. If you’re looking for somewhere with good snorkeling, kayaking or other activities off shore then this may not be your best choice though as there aren’t many options nearby.
