This review is of Zekreet Beach, located on the south-western tip of Qatar. The beach is very wide and has a great deal of sand. It’s maybe 400-500 meters before it ends at some rocks which turn it into a bay with a small island in it.

The water is shallow but not too shallow – you can swim out quite far before your feet start to touch the bottom (which feels weird). There are no waves at all during low tide so that makes things more comfortable if you want to lie down on your towel without getting sand everywhere!
