Prophets Beach

Prophet’s Beach

I’m going to tell you about my experience at Prophet’s Beach in Marseille, France. This is not a resort; it’s just a little beach that has a restaurant. And I decided to go there for the first time because I love seafood and I wanted something different than the usual French food that I eat all the time when I’m in this city. So here’s what happened:

I found a place called Prophet’s Beach and it was so amazing

The best thing about Prophet’s Beach is that it’s very easy to get to. You just have to go into the city and then follow the signs for Prophet’s Beach. I love that because I’m so lazy and hate having to access things via public transportation. It was also really easy to find because it wasn’t hidden away in some super obscure corner of town, like many other beaches around Marseille tend to be.

There are plenty of things you can do when visiting Prophet’s Beach: there’s a pier nearby where they allow people who aren’t swimmers but want a nice view of the water, or if you’re feeling brave enough (and don’t mind getting wet), you can jump right in! What made this place even better was how close it was located when compared with other beaches near Marseille—it took my friends and me less than 10 minutes before we were able to get ourselves settled onto one of their sun beds comfortably under some shade trees while looking out at the beautiful views. Where is Prophet’s Beach located?

The beach is situated on the south side of Marseille, between la Pointe Rouge and le Grande Motte. It’s near the old port and the Vieux Port (Old Port). You can get there by bus or tram, but it’s easier to drive or park your car in one of Marseille’s many public lots. What’s there to do at Prophet’s Beach?

A popular activity for tourists who visit Prophet’s Beach is sunbathing on its white sand beaches. Other activities include swimming in its cool blue waters and fishing off its docks (though you won’t catch much if you don’t have a boat). You might also want to check out other nearby attractions like Le Phare du Cap Brun (Cap Brun Lighthouse), which offers panoramic views over La Ciotat Bay;

Plage des Catalans (Catalan Coast), where you can see some impressive rock formations; or Fort Saint Jean de Malte (Fort St John of Malta), which served as a prison until 1848 when Napoleon III ordered its closure after winning victories over Austrian forces during the Crimean War (1853–56).

Pros & Cons of Prophet’s Beach

Pros:

I’ve been to a lot of beaches here in Marseille, and I think this one is my favorite now. Same like Prado beach.

The water is warm, the sand is soft and there are waves for surfing or boogie boarding. They also have volleyball courts if you’re into that sort of thing. You can play volleyball at any beach in Marseille, actually; there’s just something about being on an island that makes everything better!

It has sand and waves and lots of people playing volleyball.

The beach is very large and has sand, waves, and lots of people playing volleyball. You can also rent a cabana or umbrella itse very similar to Prophet’s Beach.

I really like the view from this beach. It’s not just that you can see old Marseille and its port in the distance, but there are also some interesting boats out on the water. I’m sure they’re fishing boats or something; they look like they would be fun to go onThe water is crystal clear and there are many fish in the sea. You can see a lot of coral on the bottom of the ocean and it is very beautiful. The beach also has a lot of vendors selling food, drinks, and souvenirs.!

You can grab a bite to eat or buy an ice cream when you get hot.

The beach is situated near a few restaurants and cafes, so you can grab a bite to eat or buy an ice cream when you get hot. You can also bring your own food and drinks if you prefer. There are picnic tables that have been built at the top of the dunes, so it’s easy to take a break from swimming. If you want shade while on the beach, there are plenty of umbrellas available for rent at Prophet’s Beach.

I sat and read my book for hours while watching the volleyball players.

If you’re feeling like relaxing, reading a book for hours on end is one of the best ways to do that. You can sit in the sunshine and read your book as if you were on a beach somewhere in the France.

The volleyball players are friendly and do not mind when you join in or watch them play. If you want to get involved, then go ahead and join; it’s fun!

If you feel like getting something to eat or drink while sitting on the beach, there are places where this can be done nearby. They have sandwiches and ice creams which they will sell to tourists who want something tasty while they relax in their loungers with their sunglasses on.

The beach wasn’t crowded either, which is always nice.

We were thrilled to encounter a beach that wasn’t crowded, but it was nice to be able to spread out and find a spot in the shade if you wanted to avoid the sun. And if you’re looking for a spot right by the water, there are plenty of options there too!

The water is cool and refreshing, but not cold. It was perfect for swimming!

Night fire show on the beach by locals

Fire show at Prophet’s Beach

As long as you’re out there enjoying the sunset, we highly recommend staying for the night fire show. This spectacle of flames is put on by locals and visitors alike, who congregate on the beach with their own flamethrowers and torches. The best part? It’s totally free. You can bring your own booze (and a towel), or buy some right there—the choice is yours! The show starts at 9:30pm, so be sure to get there early enough to find a good spot before it gets crowded around 10:00pm.

It’s not just about the fire: it’s also about listening to some great music while watching people do their thing with fire and water. If you want to learn more about what goes into making these shows happen, check out our article “How Night Fire Shows Work.”

Prophet’s Beach is a great place to spend your whole day!

We spent almost the whole day at Prophet’s Beach, and it was fantastic. There are so many things to do that it’s hard to pick a favorite activity! For one thing, the beach is long enough that you have plenty of space to run around and play games with your friends. There are also lots of opportunities for swimming or just wading in the water—you can even dive down into one end of an underwater tunnel if you’re brave enough! It’s great fun exploring all around this place in Europe.

There are also some shops nearby where you can buy snacks or cold drinks if you need something on-the-go; there aren’t any restaurants here but there are plenty closer by where we ate lunch after leaving Prophet’s Beach (we’ll talk more about those later).

Overall this place has everything anyone could want from a seaside destination: sunshine, blue skies…and seals!

Conclusion

So if you’re planning on visiting Marseille and need to find a place to spend the whole day, then look no further. Prophet’s Beach is the perfect place. It has sand, water, and lots of people playing volleyball that I enjoyed watching! Plus there’s food and drinks nearby if you get hungry or thirsty while lounging around all day long in this amazing city!
