Playa Villa

Playa Villa

I’ve only been to Playa Villa beach once so far and I found it to be very enjoyable. It’s a small beach with clear blue water, white sand and a wide variety of seafood restaurants. There’s also a kids playground nearby if you have children with you that need some entertainment while you’re there. Here are some things that stood out for me:

The beach is clean, has lots of trees and plants growing on it, the water is warm and there’s a nice view of the ocean from where you can sit or lay down. This sought after white sand beach is located on the Avenue Paseo de los Ingleses in the district of San Bartolo. The sea promenade is a great place to walk, especially if you’re with your dog. There are plenty of benches along the way where you can sit down and relax while enjoying the view. If you want to rent bikes, there’s an office right next to the beach where they’ll provide them at an affordable rate.

Tips for Playa Villa

  • Bring a towel and/or water shoes. The beach is rocky, so it’s best to wear water shoes when you go in the water.
  • Pack sunscreen and bug spray! The sun can be intense at this time of year, so make sure to put on a lot of sunscreen before heading out into it. Also, bring some bug spray because there are a lot of mosquitoes around (and they love biting me).
  • Pack snacks! You may get hungry while you’re there–especially if you’re like me and don’t eat breakfast every day–so bring something easy to eat that won’t spoil quickly if your bag gets wet or hot from being outside all day long (like crackers).

The water was warm, there was a nice view of the ocean, and it was easy to find your way there. Same like on Playa Punta Rocas or Playa Los Yuyos.

Kids playground on Playa Villa

Playa Villa has a playground for kids, with toys and games to keep them entertained. Parents should keep an eye on their children while they’re playing here, though–the waves are strong and there’s no fence around the playground.

If you want to bring your own toys or games for your kids, we recommend bringing something lightweight that can easily be carried by hand or strapped onto their backs (and not too big). We also recommend bringing something that won’t get ruined by sand because Playa Villa doesn’t have much grassy space where you can sit down with your belongings! Like everywhere in Peru.

A lot of people were surfing and some were fishing, but nobody was swimming.

  • The water was too cold for swimming.
  • The waves were too big.
  • It was too deep, so nobody could stand up in it and get a good look at what’s down there.
  • There were lots of rocks in the water that you would hit with your feet or hands if you tried to swim out into deeper water, making it dangerous to go swimming here (and also kind of painful).

Restaurant with a small menu

There is also a restaurant with a small menu and some snacks available for purchase. The prices are reasonable, and the food is good. They have a variety of options to choose from including sandwiches, salads, pasta and stirfry dishes. They also offer vegetarian options as well as gluten-free meals on request.

The sunset was beautiful. The beach was a great place to take pictures, and the water was warm and the weather was perfect.

This is a great place to visit if you want to relax on the beach, but don’t want too many people around

The beach is not crowded, which is a great thing if you want to relax on the beach but don’t want too many people around. The sand is clean and there is plenty of shade available if you want to escape the sun for awhile. There’s also a restaurant where you can get food or drinks if you feel like it, as well as some small shops selling souvenirs and other items for sale.

There are also two playgrounds set up for kids to play at: one near the entrance gate where they can run around freely without being in danger of getting lost (it’s fenced off), and another further down towards Playa Villa Beach Resort that has jungle gyms with slides attached! My son loved both places because he could climb up; slide down; swing from monkey bars; walk across balance beams – all kinds of fun stuff! You can get more info on Google review.
